Now for the fun part!
This month I will be focusing on the topic of Ghost Hunting. As many of you might know, there are tons and tons of information out there, whole seasons worth of tv shows, movies, books, and blogs about the paranormal. I’m hoping to help narrow things down to the basics in a way that is easily accessible; blogging and of course using pretty graphics!
Ghost hunting is a hobby that requires respect for both the living and the dead, and it’s important to follow certain rules to ensure that investigations are conducted safely and responsibly. Here are some general rules of ghost hunting:
From Image Above:
- Always get permission: Before investigating any location, get permission from the property owner or manager. This includes both public and private locations.
- Respect the location: Treat the location with respect, and avoid damaging or defacing any property.
- Avoid trespassing: Never enter a location without permission, and avoid trespassing on private property or other restricted areas.
- Safety first: Always prioritize safety during investigations, and avoid taking unnecessary risks. Bring appropriate equipment and supplies, and consider working in teams or pairs to ensure safety.
- Document everything: Document all findings and experiences during investigations, and keep detailed notes and records of any evidence gathered.
- Be sensitive to others: Be respectful of others who may be using or occupying the location, and avoid disturbing their activities or privacy.
- Be open-minded: While skepticism is important in any investigation, it’s also important to remain open-minded and not dismiss potential evidence or experiences without careful consideration.
- Do not provoke or antagonize spirits: Do not provoke or antagonize any spirits or entities that may be present during investigations. Respect their presence and intentions.
These will be our rules of engagement for the month. Happy haunting!
